    Branzy stops just a foot away from Clown, waiting for an invitation to join him, to bring him inside, or to just leave him there—whatever Clown wants, really.

    “Hello,” Clown mumbles after a moment.

    He’s in. “Hey, Clown, what’cha doing out here on this fine evening?” Branzy makes sure to start the conversation light—it’s the easiest way to lure Clown in.

    Clown’s head turns back to looking down at his feet. “’m cold,” he mutters, softly, his shoulders hunching upwards to…what Branzy assumes, emphasize his point.
