Summary
The silverwood problem has been solved and Qifrey and Olly finally have time to figure things out.
Four chapters, four seasons. There are tears, there are insecurities, but mostly I want these two to have nice things.
A smut heavy fic, where I gloss over how the silverwood problem gets solved (this is not the point here). The girls are mentioned in passing but this is less about them.
Please note that this is a continuation of Why Would You Be Loved, so all spoilers apply here as well (chapter 97). I guess you could read this without knowing my previous fanfic but then the references to Easthies don't really make sense.

Summary
Qifrey knows that mixing pleasure and pain is dangerous, but he also knows that he cannot have the former without the latter. He loves Olly too much to drag him into a messy love life on top of everything else.
Easthies feels inexplicably attracted to Qifrey.
They both know it's not love but why shouldn't they use each other for pleasure until they get tired of it?
Spoilers up to chapter 95.
Set between Qifrey's fourth and fifth test. To me, this feels like their (broke?) student days, maybe their early twenties. In my headcanon Easthies is slightly older. Qifrey does not yet wear glasses. I do not write slow burn, I burn the candle on both ends and I aim for maximum emotional damage. To me Orufrey is endgame and Easfrey is delicious, delicious toxic yaoi. I mean look at that dirty look at the very beginning of chapter 50.

Summary
Qifrey is free of The Curse™, but it leaves him with low vision. He adapts with a little help and some nifty new contraptions from his smart and awesome apprentices. He also finally gets to have good things, like way too much wine and the best friend he's longed after for ages.
Or: I write out my ideal post-canon for my beloved family. I am un-dooming them from the narrative because I'm too impatient for Shirahama to do so herself in 10 years. Characterization/plot leans sweeter and less tragic. I like my imaginative whimsy and queer joy!
