Summary
The life of Nations is complex, to say the very least. In 1871, Prussia tries to protect his brother from that cruel truth. Ludwig, not yet Germany, cannot understand.
In 1943, Germany has learned his lesson. Locked in a losing war with little choice but to go through the motions of his inevitable defeat, he finds solace in his love for Prussia.
When he confesses that love, though, everything changes. Their codependence reaches new depths, and with their separation imminent, they must choose whether to cling to each other, or let go.
