Summary
Xie Lian works at a museum now, far away from his past and the hurt of his younger years. He's adjusted to the damage done to his eyes and the loss of people he'd loved. He has Ruoye, and friends, Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan, his neighbors from across the hall- he's doing okay. He's fine. Then He Xuan's friend Hua Cheng comes to stay with the couple for a few weeks as his apartment is repaired. As the two meet and become close, Xie Lian finds himself realizing that he might get to be more than just okay. He might get to be happy.
