    Summary

Deadpool's been acting strange, and Peter noticed. It’s like he... enjoyed being bossed around? By Peter. Or, by Spiderman. He reacted really weird to Spiderman’s instructions. He made jokes that Peter wasn’t sure were jokes. He pushed Spiderman, intentionally annoyed him and initiated shoving fights until Peter snapped and slammed Deadpool into the wall. And then he’d go limp, like putty in Spiderman’s grip.

Peter didn’t quite know what to make of it. So, like the scientist he was, he decided to run an experiment.

    The IRB would not approve.

    Summary

Peter couldn’t be more stunned when Deadpool abruptly slips to the ground cross-legged, tosses the collar at Peter, and casually says, “Put it on me, Spider-Man.”

He doesn’t say Webs, or Webster or any other nickname he’s come up with. Not even baby boy. It’s Spider-Man.

Deadpool wants Spider-Man to put the collar on him.

    ---

Or: An accidental meeting turns into what Deadpool himself describes as "stalking-lite". What is Spider-Man supposed to do when Deadpool won't stop following him around like a lovesick puppy?

    Summary

"Peter sucks in a breath and hides his face with a sip of cocoa. Aunt May repeating his own idea back to him cements it in his mind. Deadpool needs a friend more than anyone else in the world right now, and Peter’s job is to protect people. Even if that means protecting them from themselves.

He’s going to be the best fucking friend Deadpool ever had, even if it kills him. Which it very well might."

    Summary

Peter Parker's life doesn't need an influx of new, distinctly spidery Spider-Man powers. He would gladly spend the rest of his days not creating tiny spiders from nowhere, for example. Like, in a, "yes please, I'll take two orders of the 'no spider-parenthood lifestyle,' hold the whip" kind of way. And that's only the start of how certifiably nuts his life has gotten lately.

But... okay, the spiders are pretty cute. And the other powers, well, aren't horrible. He supposes. And if Deadpool seems to think his new spidery skills are great and interesting and hot (which is weird, but not as objectionable as Peter would expect), that's... that's not so horrible, either.

Alternatively: Peter's powers are a joke, he's broke, and his love life... isn't all that DOA.

    ~*~*~

See author's notes for tag descriptions and warnings, but for real, this is a mostly cute, constantly comedic foray into spidery!Spider-Man life.

    Summary

As a ferryman, Wade’s Wilson role in the cosmos is to usher people from life into death. If asked how he feels about this profoundly important role that he’s played since the dawn of time, Wade would tell it to you straight: It is insanely, mind-numbingly boring.

    Until it isn’t.

No one is supposed to be able to see Wade until the moments leading up to their death. So how is it that Spider-Man keeps noticing him and then not, you know, dying? It makes no sense! Curious and more than a little intrigued, Wade gives chase and discovers that Spider-Man not only sees him, he likes him, too.

What’s a lonely, adrift ferryman to do but fall chaotically, consumingly in love with him?
