Someone kidnapped The second Order of the Phoenix, sat them in a room they can't escape, wrote the rules in blood, and handed Dumbledore a book.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, it's Harry Potter.
Canon is more of a polite suggestion than a law around here. Some scenes are exactly as you remember them. Others... absolutely are not. People make different choices. People bleed more. The adults are forced to confront things they missed. Harry has significantly more problems than anyone signed up for.
Nobody is leaving until the last page.

This was an odd little earworm of a plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. I'm much more inclined to shorter works, so it's a bit of a patchwork story.
Note on the tags. Petunia is... Petunia. She is not really 'Nice' or 'Good' but she's not 'Mean' or 'Evil' either. She's a selfish, self-centered woman with a brittle sense of self-esteem and a drive to be recognized as successful in her own right. I tagged it 'Good' because that was the closest I could get to 'not the horrible person from the book, but not really even close to a Molly'.
Also: I will not be tagging every single person who appears in the fic, only those with reoccurring roles. This is not a bashing fic and I've done as best as possible to give rational(ish) 'good intentions' explanations for the canon shenanigans.

Summary
After the war, the magical population, especially the males, was decimated. In order to rebuild the population every male wizard was required to father a child with at least 3 different witches. Harry and Ginny are engaged. Ron was killed in the war and Hermoinie doesn't have a boyfriend, so she agrees to be his second. Harry needs to find a third witch. There are several possibilities from among his friends circle, and then he receives a request to meet from an unexpected source; former Slytherin, Daphne Greengrass and her father.
Neville, Fred, George, Bill and all other fertile male wizards face similar choices.
This story takes place during a slightly non-canon version of the Harry Potter universe. The main events of the books happened, but some slightly differently than the books and movies. Some characters who died in the book and movie (Fred) lived, and some who lived in the books and movies died (Ron). These changes were all made for specific narrative and character driven reasons.
