Summary
The Urge comes around a female Hobbit's coming of age. It is affectionately called Heat by some of the older ladies. The Urge provides an innate drive to find a partner she is most compatible with. This is done by hugging or pecking random lads or lasses, waiting for the Heat to strike and tell her she found her soulmate. Its a Hobbit's most reliable way of finding them. Only for Billa, she'd never felt the Urge.
Until she was snatched into the sudden, grateful embrace of Thorin Oakenshield himself after he woke on the Carrock. Yavanna preserve her, now she understood exactly what the elder Hobbits meant by the Heat. She was burning with desire, pursued by thoughts of Thorin. Summary
Bilbo loved all her sisters dearly. A hobbit family with five daughters, after all, wasn't anything out of odds in the Shire. Her mostly uneventful life turned upside down when a company of dwarves arrived from a faraway kingdom and stirred the stale waters of the Shire society. Busy with rooting for her elder sister's blooming relationship and despising the dwarven prince, Bilbo discovered that there might yet be something more in store for her than idle life of a hobbitwife. If only it hasn't involved that unpleasant poncy prince!
The Hobbit meets Pride and Prejudice. Prepare for lots of gossiping, misunderstandings and dwarves in skirts. And maybe a dragon.
Edited and completed out of boredom five years later. :D

Summary
When Gandalf had told them Bilbo Baggins had been killed by an Orc in the Battle of the Five Armies, twelve hearts broke and one shattered entirely.
Months later and hundreds of miles away, entirely unaware of any of this, Bilbo Baggins was trying to pick up the pieces of her life and rebuild after being labelled a traitor and exiled from the Lonely Mountain by the Dwarf she loved.
