    After the debacle of Egghead Island, Kizaru decides to leave the Navy for good.
    With no place to go, he eventually seeks out Vegapunk and Sentomaru who have settled on a remote Island to raise the now orphaned Bonney.

    Trying to make amends for his mistakes, he is at first turned away by them, but slowly manages to regain their trust.

    (A note on the side: parts of chapter 7 were re-written by the end of March 2024. If you have not seen it yet, go read it because chapter 8 will not make any sense otherwise.)
