Summary
“You don’t understand how much this team means to me,” Will whispered, the words spilling out like a confession. “Everything… the chirps, the games, the bus rides… it’s everything I didn’t have back then. I can’t lose it. I can’t—”

Summary
The first time they met, they were strangers.
The first time they shared a bed, they were friends.
The first time they kissed, they were lovers.
Years later, standing on opposite sides of a locker room, they are strangers again.
(Or: Will watches the person he loves disappear in slow motion, and discovers that sometimes love isn't enough to save someone.)

Summary
“Hey! You must be Mack.”
Will. Of course it was Will.
Mack had watched every single one of the games he played against him. Knew his stats, his little post-goal celebration, the way he laughed in interviews. Had maybe—definitely—rewatched certain clips more times than he should admit. And now the guy was going to be his roommate for the next two weeks.
“Yeah,” Mack said, voice barely above a mumble. He adjusted the strap of his bag, eyes flicking to the floor. “Hi. I’m… Mack.”

Summary
Macklin Celebrini has spent years trying to be the kind of omega people can tolerate. It's exhausting.
Meanwhile, Will Smith has never had much trouble being an alpha. He's loud, confident, annoyingly easy to like, and somehow always manages to end up exactly where Mack doesn't want him.
And now they're drafted onto the same team.
As Mack navigates the NHL, and a league that still isn't quite sure what to do with omegas, Will keeps showing up for him.
Mack is pretty sure he can't stand him.
Will is pretty sure that's a lie.
Or: an omega who smells like spoiled milk, an alpha who refuses to take the hint, and several years of hockey before either of them figures out what's actually going on.

Macklin Celebrini is deep in the closet, and it’s eating him alive. Thankfully, his friends Sid and McDavid steer him towards a discreet service that promises to meet his needs without risking exposure.
What he doesn’t expect, though, is catching real feelings for the boy with striking blue eyes and sunlit blonde hair.

Summary
Mack keeps swimming so no one sees him drown.
Will sees him anyway, in the fevers, the shaking hands, the mornings where Mack can barely stand. And when things finally slip, Will becomes impossible to shut out.
Mack has spent years hiding his chronic illness, doing everything he can to keep up the image of the Sharks’ golden boy. But the harder he pushes himself, the harder it becomes to keep the cracks from showing, especially around Will.
A story about chronic illness, caretaking, found family, and the slow, quiet shift between two boys who have always been close, and suddenly aren’t quite sure where the line is anymore.
