Between picking up the pieces in the wake of the Day Of Unity and its aftermath, reconnecting with Raine, helping King come to terms with his newfound identity and being there for Luz as she navigates a life split between the Boiling Isles and Connecticut, Eda Clawthorne has a lot on her plate.
Taking on another, seemingly-impossible project at this point, especially one that seems particularly ill-advised, is probably not the wisest decision. But then, Eda has never been one to take the easy path in life.
And she made a promise.
AKA - The one where Eda takes it upon herself to give The Collector a second chance, and faces the challenges that go along with it.

With a guttural scream, Niki finds herself crying out: “Help me, please, someone help!”
As soon as the words leave her lips, she feels as if the room around her is spun over like a hamster wheel. Abruptly she feels a cold floor and a growing wet stain beneath her despite remaining on her feet, and the tears staining her cheeks feel nauseatingly familiar.
Who did she cry for as she lay in agony? Who was it that she begged for help, only to receive no mercy? Who is she calling for now?
They didn’t save her.

Summary
With every new written story about The Hero and every new drawn fanart, with every new Tweet talking about them and every new edit of their death, parts of Ranboo stay tied to the place. To the place of misery, to the place of despair, anger, fear, helplessness. The audience is truly never satisfied, they need to see more of Ranboo. Alive Ranboo, Ranboo who escaped, Ranboo who is drawn with a slight religious imagery behind him.
The audience is never truly satisfied with Ranboo's character and they always want more.Or
Deep character study about how one ghost went crazy and turned into a poltergeist.
