He’s too far gone to see the delighted glint in Noli’s eyes, the way the shadows in the room twist gleefully in anticipation. Finding his most precious mortal on his knees, praying for him with a desperate need not even the most devout of his cult can manage, well-
Noli stares down at his twitching hips, at the puddle of slick between his legs, and that carved grin turns ravenous.
007n7 is determined not to interrupt Noli with his heat again. He's not a hormonal young demon anymore, after all. He hasn't even had a heat in years. He can deal with this himself.
...He doesn't last long.

007n7 gets caught by the Void Cult and sacrificed to their God. He plans to go out while making everyone as uncomfortable as possible, but it turns out their God has a thing for stupid mortals who decide to offer themselves up to him before his cult can do it.

007n7 certainly wasn’t complaining. The only issue was that Noli was still treating him like a roommate. His hands would linger on him here and there, just long enough for him to squirm a little, but nothing that couldn’t easily be explained away as a friendly gesture.
…They had been a little more than just roommates, back in college. 007n7 would never have blamed Noli for not being attracted to him anymore- lord knows he'd let himself go- but that wasn’t quite the problem. The one part of him that hadn’t gotten any weaker with time was his nose, and, well, to put it politely…
…Noli reeked of lust every time he got close to him.
After a decade apart, Noli finally has 007n7 in his arms again.
...He gets a little too excited about it. And also forgets how good 007n7's sense of smell is.
