Summary
Aside from putting up with her father, Miranda Etchel has it pretty good: she comes from an otherwise respectable, wealthy family and is an honor roll student at the prestigious Brooks Academy. Being well-liked and reasonably popular is just the icing on the proverbial cake.
However, the staid routine at Brooks is shattered when the outsider on a full scholarship winds up in the same English class as Miranda. Summary
One day in one of the many worlds where swords and sorcery still thrive, a girl was living her life as usual, exploring a cave. For you see, she was an adventurer, and that's what people like her do. After she was accosted by something that resembled a cardboard square, she knew nothing for a long time, until she heard the voice of a transcendent being calling her, and she summoned her strength and broke free.
The girl, let's call her Ferris, found herself on an island with the transcendent being (hereafter referred to as the goddess.) This island was a nexus, Ferris was told, of which there were many doors, which led to multiple dimensions. Scattered throughout the worlds could be found the arks, the keys to opening these doors, one of which would lead Ferris to where she belonged.
And with the help of the goddess, and many others, Ferris began the long journey home.

At first, Guinevere isn't sure why her husband's newest knight seems to hate her on sight. But in the absence of any qualified mind-healers (since Merlin has gone off on holiday with his new girlfriend and doesn't seem likely to come back any time soon), she is determined to do what she can to help Lancelot resolve his problems.
Based on Arthurian legend in general, but particularly T. H. White's interpretation of Arthur and Lancelot. Guinevere may be out of character, because the story needed this Guinevere to take a different approach to solving problems. Uses generic modern spelling of characters' names, rather than White's spelling.

Atsushi bonds with a mysterious black cat that always visits him when he's at his lowest. He doesn't know that he's not the only one seeking solace in their shared life, not the only one breaking down under the pressure of life in the Port Mafia.

Arthur’s world narrowed and intensified the moment he was blindfolded. Whenever he trained this way he became hyper-aware of his body. He could almost hear his own heartbeat, could certainly feel each pulse of his heart to count between, and breathe to its rhythm. He felt as if he could have heard one of the castle mice run across the room. As it was, he heard the direction Lancelot’s now-bare feet crept.
