Summary
“This isn’t normal lacrimation,” he says one evening, his voice calm but firm, grounded in analysis rather than assumption. Miyuki hums lightly, deflecting out of habit.
“Very observant.” Chris doesn’t react to it, doesn’t allow the tone to redirect the conversation, he needs Miyuki to know that he knows, not what it feels like, but what it's going to mean, because Chris knows better than to pry on something Miyuki hides so carefully.
“There are inconsistencies in viscosity. The density varies. That suggests irregular glandular response—or something systemic.” There is a pause, measured, intentional.
Miyuki's breath is held during seconds, he tries to pretend it's not like that, but the way the words leave his mouth, breathy, weak, stutterish, it says otherwise “…So- So I’m broken.”
“I’m saying we don’t understand it.” he exhales, ignoring the tone on his underclassman's voice
And that lands heavier than anything else, because uncertainty leaves no room for control, and Miyuki... Is antsy of being unable to control it.

Summary
The first tear, when it comes, is almost nothing. A faint glimmer at the edge of Okumura’s eye, catching the light for a fraction of a second before disappearing, so subtle it could be dismissed as irritation, as wind, as anything but what it actually is. Anyone else would have missed it. Anyone else does miss it. But Miyuki doesn’t look away. He doesn’t pretend it wasn’t there, doesn’t give himself the option of ignoring it, because he knows exactly what it means when something like that goes unacknowledged, when it is allowed to remain small, contained, invisible.
Because he knows what happens when it doesn’t stay that way.
And this time...
he refuses to let it become what it was for him.

Summary
“…You just threw a strike,” Kawakami mutters from the side, not even trying to hide the confusion anymore.
Furuya considers that.
“…Yes.”
A pause.
“…But internally, not good.”
That—
does not help.
At all.
“…What does that even mean?” someone else asks.
Furuya turns slightly, as if this is a serious question deserving of a serious answer.
“…The feeling of the pitch,” he says.
“…You mean like control?”
“…No.”
“…Speed?”
“…No.”
“…Then what—”
Furuya gestures vaguely with his glove.
“…Pitch aura.”---
Furuya is a good Senpai, so he covers for Okumura when he can't hide
He also starts a trend of nonsense---

Summary
A condition in which the body converts improperly processed emotions into a constant and visible flow of tears, even when the person appears calm.
It is not sadness… it is emotional overload that the body does not know how to contain because it has not been properly channeled, and ends up transforming into this condition. However, the emotions that generate it are not always sadness—they can be resentment, guilt, anger, grief, and even love. It may also stem from the repression of multiple emotions rather than a single one, or from an excess of “invulnerability.”
It may not even be a failure in channeling, but rather in the processing of many feelings and emotions—the constant avoidance or repression of them.

Summary
The seams of the baseball felt foreign against his fingers, leather clammy against his skin, its weight heavier as it sat in his palm. He stepped towards the mound, and it looked daunting at that moment, felt higher than any mountain in Japan, the feeling of it lodging itself deep in his mind, Eijun unsure as he stood in this unfamiliar place.
But when he turned around, Eijun found his eyes.
Miyuki Kazuya.
Or, the five times Miyuki showed his love languages, and the one time Sawamura did.

Summary
Sawamura Eijun moves into an aging Tokyo apartment to escape the weight of his past, only to find that the boy living upstairs has been carrying a silence just as heavy. Miyuki Kazuya used to be a catcher, used to be someone until he stopped knowing who that person was. What starts as late-night rooftop conversations and forgotten baseballs slowly unravels into something deeper: a connection built on quiet moments, unspoken wounds, and the terrifying, beautiful possibility of being seen.
They’re not here to fix each other. But they might just learn how to stay.
