    [GRIAN]
Alright, let’s see, what’s next- oh.

    Huh.

I… completely forgot that this would still be here. Nearly forgot I gave one at all, to be honest. That was- what, six years ago now? Honestly, it’s probably not even worth recording. But-

Oh, may as well. Statement of me, Grian, regarding… something that never happened.

    I hope.

Original interview transcribed… May 8th, 2016- yeah, six years, wow. Well. Statement begins.

    Summary

Watchers were supposed to be worshipped. It’s their source of powers as minor deities, after all.

Grian, who wanted nothing more than to forget his Watcher past, was quite happy not to be worshipped at all. So when the Hermits collectively started praying to Xelqua and Grian started to gain a lot of Watcher magic, it put a real damper on his mood, health, self-perception and his relationships. With Mumbo gone off-world, it was now up to Scar, Pearl and Xisuma to worry about him – if Grian would let them. But Grian was nothing if not stubborn. He’d get through this alone, right?

    ..Right?

    Summary

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.

“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”

With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

    This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.

“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Grian is a vet. After a chance encounter in the dead of night, during which he accidentally saves a villain from the brink of death, he suddenly finds himself entangled in a world beyond anything he could've ever imagined.

    Summary

Klein looked at her, unsure if he had heard it correctly. "Game night...?" He muttered. Audrey simply nodded, looking unfazed as she began explaining.

"Once a week the Tarot Club members will meet, kind of like our Monday meetings, but this time, it is to spend time together and to bond. If someone wishes, they can choose to reveal their identity and not hide their appearance. After all, it would be best if we all started building our relationships and bonds. We are all ascending at quick paces, and there are many situations which will require us to meet in person. By dedicating a certain time each week to getting to know each other, we can greatly strengthen our trust and understanding in one another, helping us cooperate better. This will greatly strengthen our Tarot Club and will definitely be of help."

Seeing Klein's expression, Audrey quickly added, "I'll convince all the other members during the next meeting. I just need your help getting Mr Fool's approval. Besides, it would help your humanity."

Or the tarot club bonds over game night

    Summary

Did you lie to the Department of Labor?” Diane had said, drawing away from him, as if the very sight of Roeder repulsed her. As if he were a monster. “Did you lie, Arthur?”

Arthur didn’t intend to lie. Drinker’s results were ludicrous– there was certainly no way the radium was the primary cause of the deaths and suffering of those girls. They were the largest supplier of radium to the nation– a company that he had worked on with his own blood, sweat and tears. For years they were diligently painting hundreds of dials, years before he even came to inherit the company. So why now? Why were things beginning to fall apart the moment he had decided to set foot and change the company for the better?

So if it’s all due to the radium– then it’s all Dr. Von Sochocky’s fault.

or: Arthur Roeder comes to Von Sochocky's door looking for answers. He gets them, and maybe a little more.
