Dark Cacao goes to defeat a dragon, but in the way he meets a mysterious traveler who suspiciously reminds him of his son.

Beside the fire sits a lone figure. A traveler wrapped in a dark cloak. The hood conceals nearly everything except the lower half of his face. But even from a distance, something about him seems… familiar.
Dark Cacao immediately dismisses the thought. Years of ruling had taught him that familiarity could be a dangerous illusion.
The traveler looks up as Dark Cacao approaches. For several moments neither speaks. Then the stranger smiles faintly. "I was beginning to wonder how long it would take you."
Dark Cacao narrows his eyes. "You know who I am."

Summary
After the defeat of Dark Enchantress cookie and the return of Elder Faerie, the five Beasts have their Soul Jams taken away, thus rendering them harmless for Cookiekind. Now hangs the question of what is to be done with them.
While certainly not everyone believes in the Beasts' capacity to turn their back away from their Vices, Pure Vanilla cookie insists that they can and will. Therefore, the Beasts are given the chance to change while sheltered within the castle of a small Cookie Kingdom; but to better themselves, they must first accept the aid offered to them.

With the Licorice Tribe gone after Dark Cacao shuts the Citadel gate, the Sea slowly spirals out of control. Dark Choco wants nothing more than to help his kingdom. So he and Caramel Arrow set out to find a way to control the Sea, whether that's learning to do it himself or finding someone who can.
Licorice wants no part of this. Keeping the random kid who followed him home alive was more than enough of a hassle. He didn't want to worry about two grown ass idiots from beyond the Black Citadel's walls invading his personal space and fucking around with the Licorice Sea.
