Diverges from The Jem'Hadar onward, taking the reader on a journey of discovery and providing the Dominion with the nuance it was denied in canon, while not shying away from its dystopian aspects.
heavily influenced by the excellent works of Enbygesserit, including many details from their worldbuilding, and some of their Dominion OCS, alongside plenty of my own.

In 2023, I found a Tumblr post that set my brain's gears turning, and began the Sisko'Brien Salamanders AU. In 2024, on Threshold Day, I read through the fics in that tag, and decided Voyager had to be part of this AU as well, so this series, which will wrap around both, became necessary.

Chronological ordering of all of the stories connected to my postcanon Dominion fic, we are the challengers of the unknown, chronicling the Dominion's long journey of reform and healing as seen primarily through the eyes of a crew of defective and dissident Vorta (and one disgruntled young Founder) led by Odo several decades after the end of ST:DS9.

He is not having a good time - and things will only get worse when he meets the unexpectedly familiar Sergeant-at-Arms John Keel.
Twenty-year-old Young Sam gets into a fight with his father, Commander Vimes, about not joining the Watch, and then, due to a magical mishap, lands himself in the past, forced to borrow the identity of Ned Coates for the two weeks leading up to the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May. The only versions of his Dad available to him are a bastard who doesn't recognize him, and a twerpy kid who definitely doesn't recognize him.
