Tenten pushed open the door of her bedroom. Neji followed slowly behind her. The night of romance had been nothing but perfect, which made what was about to happen next fill Neji’s gut with pain. He saw her wander to the bedside table, placing a photo taken tonight. His own smile in the photo betrayed his true feelings.
Neji and Tenten have returned from one of their many dates. But now Neji must tell information that will shatter their lives. For he knows their relationship is over. Neji has been given a chance to be Clan head but it will not be with Tenten by his side.

The sky was awash with colour. The setting sun bleed orange and purples, a convofany of colours radiated from the dying light. The clouds that rolled on overhead were soaked with pink light. The embers of blue in the sky slowly fading into the haze of orange sunlight. It was beautiful, thought Kiba. Words lacked the detail to fully comprehend the beauty of it. Any word said about it seemed clumsy and underwhelming, the beauty and colour could only be seen in the moment, right in the here and now. He could say the same about Hinata.
