Wendy’s arms were still crossed. Webber moved his hand closer, inviting her to hold it and open up a bit more.
“We don’t think we’ll ever stop loving you,” he whispered. “And… we think you probably feel the same.”}

Siffrin has gotten used to this endless cycle of repeating events.
Nothing has ever substantially changed, throughout dozens of loops, unless he caused it.
So WHY in the name of the UNIVERSE do the loops now include two random kids with strange, otherworldly appearances falling out of the sky?
And even more than that, why is it that one of them can’t just stick to one single script?

Summary
At first, Webber tried to pretend he felt nothing new. It worked, for a while, but he wasn’t happy. He was scared to ask for more, but the fear of pushing Wendy away outweighed his wants less and less every time he thought about it. Eventually, it got to a point where he knew he couldn’t pretend anymore. He needed to tell Wendy everything.
But it had to be done right.
Or: 4 times Webber thought his feelings to Wendy weren’t clear, and 1 time he didn’t.

Summary
Wendy hates her feelings more than what is probably reasonable or healthy. It is a consistent cause of pain and suffering that she is unable to be freed from.
The worst part is, they require so much effort to control. If she doesn’t keep herself contained, she fears it will end up worse for her.
Keeping herself stable is hard enough on a normal day.
So when Webber casually confesses his love to her, she doesn’t take it very well.

There they must face all sorts of horrors, try and find a way back, and surprisingly, even make some friends. Of course, none of this is too hard for these kids; after all, they are no strangers to hell.
