“Ja-mie,” mocked Roy. “Up!”
Grumbling, the man did lever himself into a sitting position, glowering up at Roy and wincing at all his remaining aches and pains.
Roy’s heart hurt, that the man still fucking had them, still had twinges and tightness and aches that waited for him to bend at just the wrong angle for a split second. Time was healing him up, but its lack of hustle was earning it a fucking red card, in his books.
“Kiss,” demanded Jamie, scrubbing at his eyes.
Roy rolled his eyes, but reached out and lifted the man’s chin, tilting his scrunched-up face and bending himself down to give the silly man his morning kiss.

Summary
Look one of the things I LOVE about domestic discipline fics (hi, yes, do you enjoy a good "Jamie gets spanked" fic? let's chat about what this genre has to offer you!), is that you CAN emphasize the DOMESTIC part of those two words.
Not every fic where Jamie earns himself a spanking has to be high stakes, life-or-death, oh my god he DESERVES it!
Or even "oh my god FIRST TIME!" which does in fact deserve the exclamation point because there's so many emotions involved.
Sometimes you can just let yourself write a bunch of scenes, slice-of-life style, where you enjoy the Roy/Jamie/Keeley dynamic for everything it can bring to the kitchen table.
And the hall table.
And any other table Jamie needs to be bent over, for the spanking he's earned.

Hours and hours of riding the trails near to the home farm, until Peter’s absolutely lost and has to keep scanning to skyline to see if he can see mountains just to orient himself to whether they’re moving closer to the home farm, or further away. Peter’s just starting to be seriously uncomfortable with all the wear and tear on his muscles when out of nowhere, Harley huffs and says angrily, “Yeah, all right, I guess!”“You knew which way I turned her head a half-hour ago,” offers Tony mildly.
“Just- know there’s gonna be some dumb thing about my grades,” Harley says, the black clouds that had been hovering over him the morning before they left crashing back down.
