Summary
James Potter was pretty sure he had it all figured out. His face was on billboards, shampoo and razor ads, and life was basically golden. Romance? Well, that part was a little slower, at least until a random text from an unknown number landed in his inbox. Regulus, definitely hadn’t meant to text him, he wasn’t exactly looking for anything except his class assigned work partner...
But one message turned into two, then ten, then late-night conversations and inside jokes. James wasn’t planning to fall for a stranger behind a screen... but then again, nothing about Regulus felt like a mistake.or,

Summary
I've turned this work into a series because I've realised it made more sense than keeping to one huge work.
The first installation focuses on the summer of Year 4 and the murder mystery. The part featuring the actual school year will come after and there will be a few one shots in the middle.

Summary
Harry Potter was done waiting.
After years of beatings, neglect, and being treated like an inconvenience in his own home, Harry runs away from Privet Drive in the middle of summer—tired of the Dursleys’ cruelty, the silence from those who were supposed to protect him, and the strained, carefully-worded letters from friends who feel increasingly out of reach.
In the heart of Diagon Alley, Harry discovers something that should have been impossible: he is not only the Heir of House Potter, but also the Heir of House Black. Two ancient lines of magic awaken within him—fire and ice, honour and control—binding themselves to him in ways he is only beginning to understand.
When legal magic confirms his emancipation, Harry is offered something he has never truly had before: choice.
Taken in under the protection of a certain Weasley connection—someone far from the Ministry’s reach and far closer to Goblin law than most wizards realize—Harry begins to rebuild his life from the ground up.
And if that so happened to be him resorting himself into a certain green and silver Hogwarts house? So be it.Series

Summary
Going back, changing everything...
Not so simple, considering no one seems willing to cooperate. But, hey, at least Harry isn't alone in this madness, and truth be told, he's having perhaps a little too much fun upsetting everyone around him. In his defense, returning from the dead always has a certain effect. Going back in time shortly before his fifth year... could be even worse.
Or better.
A matter of perspective. In other words: Harry goes back in time to the summer before his fifth year at Hogwarts with the intention of changing as much as possible. The good news is that he doesn't have to do it alone. The bad news is that it might complicate things a bit.

'Mala fides': bad faith, purpose to deceive or defraud
- Merriam Webster dictionaryFor Harry Potter, the man-who-lived-twice, savior of the Wizarding World, and the ultimate golden boy, life was good. He had survived the war, had a job he loved, a good home, and wonderful friends; the future seemed bright.
