The first was a breathtaking arrangement of purple lilacs.
The second was a delicate hand blown vase brimming with crimson gardenias.
Tonight, it is an exquisite bouquet of white daffodils.
As much as Rin cherishes the gifts from her secret admirer, she cannot find room in her heart for someone else – even though she knows it will end in nothing but heartache.

Summary
He had a very clear and concise schedule. He would wake at 4:30 in the morning and go for a run. After his run, he would put bread in the toaster and peel two hard boiled eggs before heading upstairs to take a shower. He would eat his meal and then head to work at 6AM. Then there were a flurry of patients, meetings and research ending anywhere between 10 and 11 at night at which time he would go home, make himself a cup of noodles or sandwich and be done with the day until repeating the process tomorrow.
Until Tuesday at 1:00PM.

Summary
In a book given to her by Miroku, teenage Rin finds the recipe for a love potion that claims to work on demons. After being assured by the monk of its effectiveness, Rin decides to recreate it and uses it on Sesshomaru.
The potion doesn't actually work, but the demon says nothing, curious to learn her intentions.

Summary
For the entirety of her youth, or at least since she had arrived on her grandmother's door as an orphaned child, Rin Akamatsu had dreamed of nothing more than leaving the monotony of Shirakawa. But after a stint at college, a troubled Rin must return to the familiarity of her childhood home mute and seeking a place to safely withdraw from the world. Only to find, that despite the sleepy familiarity of its surface, that something dark and simmering has followed her there. Realizing she can no longer run from the horrors of the world and convinced her new neighbor is the source of the change, Rin will undergo her greatest challenge yet as she is forced to fight for those she loves. Along the way she will discover that the worst demons don't always dwell within us, sometimes they lurk right next door.
