Summary
As time passed, with each day, hour, and minute, the pattern held true. The harder you worked, the more you learned, the deeper your understanding grew, and the easier victory came. This truth was revealed as you journeyed through the Lands Between, defeating all who faced your blade without mercy. Initially, there was a hint of compassion, but as the end drew near, any remnants of innocence were extinguished alongside those who fell.
Yet, the Shadow Realm brimmed with the innocence you'd abandoned. In the Lands Between, you were merely Queen Marika's blade, but here, whispers of "love" from Miquella the Kind's disciples stirred you. The notion of a benevolent demigod was foreign, as those you encountered were rarely ever so gentle. They might end up being mistaken, or oddly enough, they could turn out to be correct.

Summary
"You wanna psychoanalyze me?” he whispered, voice curling against your skin like smoke. “Crack me open, see what makes a monster tick?” He laughed softly, the sound more sin than humor. “Or maybe you just wanna ride the line a little. Get close. Pretend it’s for work, for research, for Jed... but really?” His mask brushed your jaw, featherlight. “You’re chasing the thrill.”
His hand slid down your side, leather palm gliding slow and easy down your shirt, fingers lingering just a second too long.
“You want the danger,” he said, voice thick, teasing. “You want it to look like a study—while you let the monster under your skin and wonder how deep he’ll go.”

Summary
"In local news tonight, the disappearance of a Haddonfield paramedic continues to send shockwaves through the community. It’s been just three months since she was last seen, but the case has already gone cold."
"It’s terrifying, isn’t it? One moment, she's finishing her shift at the hospital, and the next… nothing. No signs of struggle, no leads, just gone."
"The family is still pleading for answers, and I can’t imagine how they’re coping. They’ve said this wasn’t like her at all—no warning signs, nothing unusual leading up to the disappearance."
"Exactly. And the police are urging anyone who might have seen something, no matter how small, to come forward. It’s clear they’re working against the clock here."
"This is every family’s worst nightmare. Let’s hope they find answers soon—for the family’s sake and for the community."

Summary
You weren’t entirely sure what to make of him. That man. The one who sat in the very back of the lecture hall like some silent, brooding storm. There was something ghost-like about the way he lingered there, half-shadowed and unreadable, as if he was daring someone to acknowledge him. No one ever did. The seats near him stayed empty, his space unbothered like it was marked off by some invisible barrier.
You exhaled softly, catching yourself staring again, and turned away. “Why do you keep looking at that freak?” a voice chimed in from nearby—one of your friends, more amused than concerned. Right. Your 'friends.'
“No reason,” you said casually, a small shrug as you sipped your drink. But you were lying. You’d never tell them the truth. Not about him. Not ever.

Summary
After the death of the Phantom of the Opera, the Palais Garnier is thought safe once more. But when a new rat-catcher for the Opera disappears into the cellars and never returns, his daughter descends in search of him - only to stumble into the labyrinth and into the hands of the very monster Paris believed was long gone.
Erik, volatile and broken after Christine's departure, finds in her both torment and tether. What begins as captivity soon blossoms into something far more dangerous. His grief, volatility and desperate genius ensnares her in music, madness, and possession. She cannot deny her fear - nor her pity, nor the shadow of affection that begins to grow in the darkness between them.
To survive Erik is to know him - yet to know him is to risk never escaping him at all.
