Summary
That was the other thing: when Keiji had said he wanted to make his way home, Bokuto had agreed—as if it didn’t matter where they went. He hadn’t said "we should look for a community" or "there’s probably nothing there anymore".
He’d just asked which way.
((the bokuaka zombie au literally no one asked for))

Summary
"Say Akaashi-kun, will you be taking Bokuto-kun to graduation?" his college friend asks.
The truth is, he has yet to consider this an option. The idea of Bokuto sitting beside his mom, the former filled with naive praise, while the latter in quiet disdain, fills Akaashi with dread.
"I am sure he's the type to bring a large bouquet of flowers,” one friend suggests, “and balloons,” another adds.
"Bokuto-san seems like the type to propose during graduation."
Akaashi freezes.
Nearing the end of his university life, Akaashi overthinks writing, commitment, and Bokuto.
(Or Akaashi is a work-in-progress, Bokuto doesn’t mind.)
Can be read as a standalone.

BokuAka hits a little too close to home sometimes...
Do I like the ship, or is it a projection of my current fears and desires? Do we need an answer? I'll be reading either way.
