Summary
"But now, I can't move. How strange," Dick whispers and the words feel very slippery, they disappear in an instant. The ceiling he's staring at now, is really just the floor of his apartment. The apartment where he lives alone. He is so alone, and he is drunk, and his body feels like it is rocketing through space.
A sigh. "You get off once, for sleeping in the hall," she says. "Because I'm a gracious landlord, one free pass, but I don't want an alcoholic living here. Definitely not an alcoholic cop.”
"I'm not an alcoholic," Dick says, but he will be a cop, and the shame cuts through his drunken haze.

Summary
“Bruce, this is not what you think it is,” Jason says into the cellphone a minute later. “You need to turn around, we’ve got a problem.”
A fourth person, one immediately recognizable, is pictured on the final page. The last person is not facing the camera, instead they are intently staring at the blue of a computer screen.
It is Jason's own head of black hair framed by the narrow lines of bookshelves, turned away and unaware.
"A big one, can't emphasize that enough. You need to pick me up, now."
Little handwriting, the kind that is halfway to cursive, lines the bottom of the photograph, and it's written in blue ink- maybe from a ballpoint pen.
Please, be more careful. -

In one universe, Azrael becomes Batman, and he's the wrong man for the cape. In this one he's even less so.
Tim copes (and not very well.)

A Tim Drake-centric whumpfest take on knightfall and its aftermath feat. every adult in Tim's life routinely failing him, a really, really shitty Jean-Paul Valley, Tim Drake revealing his identity to Stephanie Brown much earlier, Dick Grayson Trying His Best, Lady Shiva having a soft spot for Tim, Gotham's villains always having a thing for theatrics, and Bruce Wayne trying to pick up all the pieces. Eventually.

Summary
The dagger she took with her was a simple blade, a wooden handle, and a small, thin piece of metal that released from the hilt with a flick of her hand. Made to be fast and discreet. It felt inconceivably light tucked up in her sleeve, by the fragile skin of her wrist.
Even if the act of killing was not her arena, like it was her husband's, she knew the knife would be more than enough.

Summary
Panem devours its children. The Capitol watches. And in the arena, stars fall one by one.
In a world where survival is spectacle and death is policy, James T. Kirk, Leonard McCoy, and S’Chn T’Gai Spock are chosen to play the Capitol’s favorite twisted game. From the coal dust of District 12, the blood-stained pastures of District 10, and the gilded cage of District 1, three boys step into a killing field with no promises and no mercy.
Bones' name gets drawn from sheer dumb luck. Spock walks in already planning how to die. And Jim? Jim just wants Edith Keeler to live—and will burn the world to do it.
Alliances form. Loyalties break. And somewhere between strategy and survival, something unspoken begins to grow between the medic, the tactician, and the boy with a spark no one could snuff out.
"When the Last Star Falls” is a Hunger Games x Star Trek AU told through three alternating POVs. Trigger Warnings included when needed for each chapter. It is a story about love in impossible places, sacrifice without glory, and what it means to choose your own ending—even when the world has already written it for you.

Summary
Now he understands. He gets it.
For Jim, the world isn’t ending around him—it’s ending in his arms.
“We’ll find him in the next world, Bones,” Jim mutters, lost somewhere deep in his grief, holding onto Spock’s broken body. “When things reset. He’ll be there. He’ll be okay…”
Captain Kirk and the crew investigate a mysterious anomaly—only to find themselves trapped in a series of increasingly strange realities, each one playing out like a different genre of old-Earth television programming, cast as various characters with no memory of life beyond it.
No one except Spock, who has to repeatedly convince his Captain that he is not, in fact, the Sheriff of a frontier town, a war-torn soldier, a demigod sent to kill him, nor is he the master of a scantily-clad genie.
Can Spock convince Jim before it’s too late? Tune in now to find out!

Summary
Spock finds himself unable to look away from the way his hands contrast against Jim’s. Where his are thin-skinned and age-marked, Jim’s are exactly as Spock remembers them: beautiful and strong, kissed by a hundred different suns.
“Tell me,” Jim urges softly, his hands tightening around Spock’s.
Spock looks up after a moment, dreading what he must say next.
“It has been one hundred and nineteen years, six months and two days since you were officially listed as missing in action,” he says as gently as his Vulcan disposition allows.
The horror that unfolds across Jim’s face is, of course, inevitable.“I am sorry, Jim,” Spock apologizes in vain, “I had hoped to find you sooner.”
Jim has been missing for over a century, but for him it was less than a minute. When Jim reappears, he discovers the galaxy has moved on without him—everyone except for Spock.

Summary
The NSS T’Vann was going to crash.
Thirty-one standard seconds was not enough time to launch the escape pod.
Despite their reputation throughout the galaxy as emotionless automatons, even a Vulcan was not immune to the overbearing weight of fear. Emotion was not purged by evolution, but mastered with lifelong training. In moments of certain doom, those less disciplined would succumb to their primal nature. Years of practice would slip away – mere grains of sand racing through cracks between fingers.
...
Cast out fear. There is no room for anything else until you cast out fear.
Spock repeated the words as a mantra in his mind. They were the original words of Surak, the sermon which had saved their species from self-annihilation. His wisdom had delivered them from fear and the destructive, untamable force of entropy.
Yet, Spock could not cast out fear, for he was stranded on this alien world inhabited by barbarians – and he was alone.
