Summary
Dazai leaves the Port Mafia when Oda Sakunoske dies in his arms. With no thought of anything else, or anyone else. He did not care for anyone at the Port Mafia. Sure, he had his partner, but the hatrack was more of a tiny nuisance that Dazai could squash under his shoe if he wasn’t looking. He was NOT thinking about Chuuya as he packed his essential items, which consisted of a bag with two canned crabs and his extra rolls of badges—and a slug plushie he won at an arcade with Chuuya, but he will be taking that secret to his grave. He was NOT thinking about his partner as he went towards the location Ango had sent to him. He did NOT think of Chuuya when he went back to the port mafia and set Chuuya’s precious car on fire.
“Ne, Chuuya?”
“Hmm?”
“Come with me.”
Or, Dazai kidnaps Chuuya the day after he was supposed to run away and go into hiding. They go to France to try and live out a normal life.
