“No, you don’t understand!” Aryu insisted, extremely frustrated at these two ridiculous boys on his team.
One had nothing but soccer on the brain—which, okay, they were in Blue Lock so maybe that was to be expected. But how did you have a conversation with a guy who was simultaneously very obviously obsessed with his brother but at the same time you weren’t allowed to mention his brother or a wobbly-eyed mushroom of a man who despite being in the top three still had no self esteem and constantly apologized for being alive?
“I just saw the most beautiful man in the baths!” Aryu continued.
Of course Rin just glared at him, cool and uninterested and irritated for being bothered.
“T-that’s, um, good?” Tokimitsu tried. “O-or is that…not good, maybe? I don’t know! I just—I’m sorry, Aryu-kun, don’t look at me—”
Aryu sighed (as glam as possible) and dramatically rubbed at his temples with his long, beautiful fingers for effect. “It was breathtaking,” he said. “I am forever changed.”
“B-but you can still play soccer, right?” Tokimitsu asked.
Aryu glimpsed the most beautiful man he'd ever seen in the bath. Unfortunately no one knows who it is and no one cares.

“I never need an excuse to gush about Kunigami,” Chigiri said serenely. He let out a contented sigh. “I…am so. insanely. happy. This is the happiest I’ve ever been. He’s always hugging me and kissing me and snuggling me and—ugh. It’s all I’ve ever wanted; I might just vomit rainbows right here.”
“I might just vomit, period,” Reo offered wryly.
“Please, neither of you vomit,” Aryu pleaded, trying not to laugh. “I’m happy for you, Chigiri. You waited a long time.”
“I wanna marry him,” Chigiri announced.
Aryu’s friends are hopelessly in love. Reo and Nagi are married, Chigiri won’t shut up about Kunigami so that wedding’s bound to happen sooner rather than later.
But Aryu and Barou have been dating longer than all of them and while they’ve never been particularly “lovey dovey”…something’s up.
They’ve survived the seven-year-itch but maybe Barou’s finally ready to call it quits?
