Chay’s eyes flew open, suddenly wide awake when he heard some sound from the outside.
Damn it, was what Chay went through already not enough?! He had his heart broken by a stupid and stupidly handsome mafia prince/his celebrity crush, got kidnapped, witnessed the aftermath of a very brutal massacre, which he still had no idea who was the cause of… and now someone’s breaking into his house?! There wasn’t even anything to steal! Chay went back to their old house because he didn’t want to stay at the compound. Or, not right now anyway. He just needed some time just to himself.
