Her neck was exposed largely as Lucas held her in his lap, his arms wrapped around her chest as his sharp fangs sank into the pale skin of his girlfriend, his mouth holding back a groan of pleasure.
His hands tightly held onto both sides of her arms, his right hand gripping her right elbow while his left held onto her left elbow, keeping him steady. He always steadied himself whenever he decided to drink from Max, just in case to stop himself from ripping out one of her veins. He didn't let his nails dig into her skin, knowing that he would go too far. Lucas liked his girlfriend alive and comfortable, not dead and stuck in a little coffin.
