Wendy's days had been the exact same from the moment she unknowingly signed up for losing her legs and any semblance of a future as a Valkyrie.
With every new morning that came, her legs still didn't work, the Gem of Desire was still more useful to Schicksal than she was, and her schedule was still filled with pointless experiments that did nothing but confirm what everyone already knew about her uselessness.
Sometimes, Wendy wondered how she hadn't gone insane yet. Other times, she wondered if she had already long lost her mind and simply failed to notice.
It was a relief, in a way, to finally get an answer.
She was definitely crazy.
There were, after all, only so many reasons to see a strange yellow-eyed girl opening a portal to her room.

Summary
The Greater Mandalorian Empire that rises after the Excision spans a large swathe of the galaxy, challenging the ever-shrinking Republic Core and waging furious battles against the Sith Empire.
Captured on Galidraan and held prisoner on Kamino, Jango Vhett is caught in a Republic plot to destroy both Empires; clone troopers made of his blood are being made in secrecy to serve the Republic and the Jedi to fight both the Sith and Jango's own people.
Jango doesn’t know if he can save all of the clones from the terrible cold and unfeeling cruelty of the Kaminoans, or if he can keep them from having to fight and die for the Republic that had ordered the creation of a slave army... but he does know this: Verde sa akaan nau tracyn kad. Warriors are forged in the fires of war.
These children are made for war, and they have been fighting to stay alive since their creation. Jango will do what he must. He will teach them everything he knows so they will have a better chance of surviving Kamino, surviving the Wars.
Jango has promised that an army will be ready for the Republic.
And they will be... They will be ready. Haat, ijaa, haa'it.
