“Let me go,” you retort, your tone sharpened but reedy.
Your soul mate opens his mouth to reply, but he's interrupted by another voice, gruff and entirely too close—you jump when it sounds from right behind you. “Ease up, Johnny. She's skittish.”
The man, your soul mate—Johnny, apparently? You wince internally at the misfortune of his name—flashes the other man a cheeky smile. “I can see that, Lt. Lass would disappear if I let ‘er.”
“So don't let ‘er.”

After a whirlwind of events has left Robert's life in salvageable shambles, Flambae and him decide to take vacation. Flambae's brother is a hero in New York, and they'll be staying with him while Robert hopefully overcomes his past relationship traumas and daddy issues. There's an undeniable magnetism between Robert and the brothers -- and the concept of having two perpetual heaters on hand is simply too tantalizing to ignore.
