Scar snorts and holds out my undershirt. “G, relax,” he blurts as I continue rushing to button up my shirt. “I, I won’t tell anyone,” he reassures me. “You're beautiful.” My stomach does traitorous flips after hearing what he remarked. His eyes widen as he realises what he’s said. “I mean, your wings are beautiful—I wouldn’t say that—I mean, not that you aren’t beautiful, that is.””........

She wanted to decline. A normal person would have declined. A sensible, law-abiding hero would have declined. It would be so much ceasier, in every way, to decline. But she couldn’t. Even if the law said it was wrong— she needed to do what was truly right. Any true hero, a proper role model, one worth looking up to, would do the right thing no matter what any government, what society, or what anyone thinks of them. A true hero does what’s right.

Thunderstorms were a good time to take Moony out into the forest. The noise covered most of his howling, the rain kept him slow and careful, and most of the more dangerous creatures would be settled in for the night. This one had been textbook, with the night tilting back over towards the day with no issue. Then they looked back at the werewolf, noting his raised ears and slowly sniffing nose.

He's not the MOST pleased with his new form. A form that garners as many predators as Severus does in his every day life / The Marauders feel guilty about The Prank. But are they going to say anything? Nuh-uh!)

He trailed thin, precise fingers down Remus’ red-tipped nose, mouth ajar as he traced the angle of his jaw, the fading scars across his cheek, the curve of his lips….There they rested behind his head, fingers buried in the chestnut. He pulled him towards him until their foreheads leaned against each-other and he could look into his icy eyes, taste the warm desperation of his own breath against his.
