Summary
"You know who I am, boy?"
"I'm not a boy," Shouyou says, seething. "And you're a pirate. Obviously."
The captain steps closer. He's still unarmed; but every bone in Shouyou's body screams danger. He stands his ground.
"They call me the Dread Terror of the Seas," the man breathes. "Kingslayer. Captain of the Invincible."
The air freezes in Shouyou's lungs.
"Kageyama… Tobio…" he whispers.

Summary
There are always some individuals who are more in tune with their basal and more primitive instincts. Often, this presents itself in behaviors that are more animalistic than most: growling, snapping, teeth-baring, rumbling, hissing, purring, chirping.
Kageyama and Hinata can be lumped into that category. However... no one quite knows why they behave the way they do with one another.

Summary
So Shouyou swallows it down and keeps it to himself and because he is a terrible, greedy thing he holds onto the feelings. Never lets them fade nor pass, a love that he clings to with all the ferocity that he can muster.
He can’t have Kageyama, but that doesn’t mean he has to stop being in love with him.
Perhaps, that too, is selfishness.
