Summary
The smell of iron and sweat was what got to him the most. It wasn't just the fact he was buried under gallons and gallons of blood, or the fact that he was welded into a godforsaken metal coffin. No, it was the smell that really bothered him.
It wasn't because it was something different or even disgusting. Simon had gotten used to the smell of sweat and metal while in that prison. What bothered him the most was how familiar it was. Like if he closed his eyes he could be back in that cell, alone and forgotten all over again.
He didn't like to close his eyes.

Now with the tantalizing scent of his own power calling out to him whenever the poor soul comes near, it makes the overlord wonder how to go about getting it back when this young man has such an interesting mind.
