Summary
Psych has a bad habit of giving its fans the potential for great whump and then either under-delivering or skimping out on the aftermath. This is a collection of whumpy episode AUs, where poor Shawn gets whumped in a variety of ways, and I never skip the aftermath. In fact, I indulge in it.
The stories in this series are standalone; they are not connected chronologically, only thematically. If all of these things happened to Shawn in one timeline, I don't think he'd be alive right now. :)

His heartbeat hammered in his clenched fists as his breathing grew shallow. Distantly, he saw Gus putting the gas nozzle in the car, but Gus was miles away, back at the police station and talking to Jules and not suffocating.
Shawn ran a hand across his neck, feeling new beads of sweat on his skin. His breathing wasn't shallow anymore. His breathing was three thousand feet above sea level.
He was not going into that store.
Shawn doesn't understand how one empty gas station could make him feel this nervous. Gus, on the other hand, understands completely.
