    There was an (awkward) silence until Phainon spoke up again in the same bizarre, soft tone. 
     
    “It looks good on you.” Was what the hero uttered in the end. 
     
    Mydei looked at him puzzled as if he was dropped by his mother on the head. He then figured that Phainon must’ve been praising his new metal claws. He scraped the others, and they ended up bent in certain parts after a tough brawl, so he had to commission a new pair. Although they looked exactly like the last pair he had. So why was Phainon acting all weird now?

    Fic takes place before Castrum Kremnos fell, when Mydei was still crown prince. Not much changed tho, they are still very gay for each other.
