Summary
Nameless plays the piano and Belladonna sings; that is all it takes to create the ethereal melody of the Velvet Room. It is meant to soothe the heart and mind of weary travelers in need of respite, to be a reminder of safety. As such, it is also meant to linger.
In this, the song certainly succeeds. Perhaps a little too well.
(Or: This Side’s Tatsuya keeps getting the Velvet Room’s song stuck in his head.)

Emma has called for his help, and there are plenty of other friends, foes, and those in between to meet. The world is changing, and Calem must rise to the occasion, lest he fall to its truths.

Champion Serena declines helping out Looker a couple months after the Ultimate Weapon was fired, but she recommends her rival Calem to help instead.
A year and a half later, Calem is a rising member of the International Police, specializing in humanitarian conflicts after his experiences with Team Flare. His first mission outside of Kalos is to go to Galar and infiltrate Macro Cosmos, ensuring that the recent situation with Eternatus is properly handled and any other harmful plans are stamped out.
Calem doesn’t expect to stay in Galar long, just keeping to himself and doing some minor investigating, but life always has found ways to turn expectation on its head.
(Or: Calem is a member of the International Police sent on a mission to Galar. This does not go how anyone expects.)
