A ‘what if’ scenario of the resident evil games!
What if Chris had been in Raccoon that fateful night? How would the story change?I take a lot from the games (all of them) directly, and add my own spin on them! I am also a massive nerd for all things mythology, so I take inspiration from that often! I hope you all enjoy!
For reference! Leon is Ariadne, Chris (for now) is Dionysus, Claire/Ada take up Theseus interchangeably and Wesker takes the Cult of Dionysus for reasons that will become clear later!

In other words, for Dan Heng, the first “proof” that Stelle is okay—that is, without major physical or mental injuries—is the comforting warmth that radiates through her skin.
Comforting in the sense that, even if he doesn't ask her or has time to do so, feeling her warmth reminds him that she is still there, safe and sound.

Summary
Captain Link has been sent to a village on the border of East and West Hyrule to figure out if a missing woman was killed by the Bulblins nearby or if something else is at play. He's sent to meet a mercenary from Ordon Village a few days ride past their border, a man rumoured to have a good relationship with the Bulblins in question.
But if the Mercenary can get evidence the Bulblins aren't at fault, who is? and can Captain Link stand to work with him that long without getting more caught up in this business than he ever intended? He's not here to get personally involved, but the woman who's missing (and presumed dead) may leave him no choice.

{“You need to get checked out. Now.” The larger man ordered, but Leon just shook his head and melted into his arms, exhausted.
“I know, I know, but can we just…just stay here for a sec? Like this?”
His voice was a strained, quiet plea, and Chris sighed as he gently rubbed circles into his back, easily accepting most of the other man’s weight and swaying him back and forth a little.
“Fine. Just for a sec. But then you’ve gotta see a medic.”
Leon grunted noncomitally against him, and he rolled his eyes at the smaller man.
“Alright, but you’ve at least gotta let me check you out before we even think about going anywhere. God, you’re stubborn, you know that?”
“S’why you married me, isn’t it? You think it’s charming.” }
Post RE9- Chris comes to pick Leon up from saving the world, and he is NOT happy about his husband's choices.
