Bookmarker's Notes
Snape's just a lil guy. He's just a lil guy Harry can stick in his pocket (when his defenses are completely down) and I can't stop thinking about it. (Not in a shrinking kind of way. This isn’t that kind of fic.)
Anyway, excellent hanahaki/soulmate fic with the right amount of tension, angst, and humor throughout.

Bookmarker's Notes
For anyone reading this as a rec: Old, wonderful fic. Harry is 16. Sirius is alive. Harry drops out of Hogwarts and begs Snape to train him properly in defense, which Dumbledore enables. They end up in a relationship.
Dark, good, excellently characterized Snape. Excellent Harry as well - a good boy, a little naive, but with the same edge canon Harry has. Slighly ambiguous ending but I view it as hopeful and their characters both tinged grey at the end (though Snape starts a nice, deep shade of gunmetal or even charcoal and arguably lightens over the course of the fic).
Warnings: Non-con isn't super graphic but does leave nothing to the imagination, though it might be dub-con based on the how the character in question recalls it. But if it's dub-con, the emphasis should absolutely be on the 'dubious' part.
For my purposes, to jog my own memory: I honestly had somehow forgotten about this story, but upon rediscovering it remember it as an old, heavy favorite of mine from one of The Snarry Binders I once kept that was lost in one of the moves (the green one, specifically - the really good stuff).

Summary
Harry is poisoned with a potion known as Lover's Rest. He falls into a magical sleep and can only be woken by 'true loves kiss'. Unfortunately not even Harry knows who this person is. Severus is sent into Harry's dreams to help him discover the answer, but he gets more than he bargained for. Can they reconcile their differences before its too late?

Bookmarker's Notes
Very well done, slightly AU post-HBP. Doesn't ignore Harry's or Snape's inevitable trauma both from what remains of canon and the AU changes (which are handled masterfully). Feels much longer than it is in a good way - manages to get a lot in emotionally and plot-wise in under 20k while still feeling very complete. Definitely one I'll return to.
