Summary
It did not take long for the tenseness to leave his bones. In only half a minute Chuuya had slumped forward like a rag doll, head landing on Dazai’s neck, his breath against his skin sending a rippling sensation down Dazai’s spine, though the pain was not present. The pain that came with Human touch was never there with Chuuya.

Dazai and Chuuya are touch starved. They cuddle on multiple occasions.

I have suffered with depression for my entire life. I wanted to write something dark and haunting, violent and frightening, to show people that living with depression isn't what you see in the movies. Depression isn't about getting over something that makes you sad, it isn't about finding some boy who changes your whole world and magically cures you. Depression is about surviving with the chemical imbalance that's in your brain trying to tell you that everything sucks and there's nothing good in the world. You either battle depression, or you lose. But there's no final victory; there's no cure.

It was something like an open secret in Gotham, that even though all it’s heroes were open to help no matter the situation, each one of them had a special affinity to certain matters.
For example, children from all districts knew to yell for Nightwing if they found themselves lost and scared. Small business owners often painted little Oracle symbols on their doorsteps, to warn away possible thieves with the knowledge that Gotham’s cryptic hacker had their eye on them. Working girls would send a quick prayer to the Red Hood before seeing their seediest clients; and as such, knew who to call for if things took a turn for the worst.
And Red Robin… well. His was a very specific bunch.

They have Shepard’s pie for dinner. Ron and Hermione watch Harry fill up his plate and only start serving themselves when he picks up his fork and starts eating. Neville laughs into his wine glass.
“How are you dealing with their mothering, Harry?” he asks.
Ron opens and closes his mouth for a minute, groping for an excuse. Eventually, Ron says, “He’s just so small, Nev.”
“Hey,” Harry says. “I’m seventeen. I’m an adult.”
Ron shakes his head at Neville. “My best friend is an infant.”
A curse regresses Harry to his seventeen year old self, physically and mentally. He doesn’t recognise this strange peaceful wizarding world, but there are two people he does recognise: Ron and Hermione. Based off this tumblr post.

The alley was devoid of evidence or clues. Dazai turned to leave and froze mid step, one foot hanging in the air as he faced down a very dirty, very furious, very small cat.
“Ah.” He put his foot down. “Hello.”
The cat hissed, muddy tail slashing back and forth.
For a second Dazai pictured himself rescuing this cat only to let it loose in the ADA office. He imagined, gloriously, the chaos that would ensue. Kunikida’s precious reports flying everywhere, Ranpo’s snacks effectively raided, Fukuzawa’s immense disappointment. It would be excellent.
He would have to capture this cat.

Summary
It seemed they had been able to carve out a small world for themselves in this terrible life. It didn’t stop the nightmares or panic attacks, and while Dazai’s outlook on life generally improved, it didn’t even stop the attempts either. There were days they both came home with blood splatters on their clothes, their colleagues having been killed in front of them. Or the days they woke up inside the medical ward, bandages covering various parts of their body as they fought the nurse to go check in on the other. But overall, their little apartment seemed safe. Untouchable. It was a messy life, but it was their messy life.

The tree times Chuuya ruined Dazai's plans and the one time he didn't (and therein after)
