Summary
It's tough being a Faunus woman in the world. Blake has to deal with both the everyday microaggressions towards her race and sex, she also has to deal with all the frustrations of being a grad student and an activist, trying to make the world a better place and dealing with all those stresses as well. So when things are really hard on her, Blake needs a release. And fortunately, she has a boyfriend who is very good at helping her release that stress.

She needs a cover for her infiltration of the CCT, and fortunately, a Dance is a place where a girl might sneak off with a boy for a wholly explainable—if not discussed in polite company—reason. She just needs to pull away a pre-selected mark, leave him seeing stars, and then go on her merry way, with a witness who won't quite remember the night, but will remember she was a part of it. A foolproof plan, unless there's something about her mark that Cinder wasn't expecting and her pride cannot endure.
