“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean… to steal.. your sword!” Reigen shouted. The burning in his lungs started to affect his running.
“What do you mean you ‘didn’t mean to’?” Serizawa questioned as he ran, having a more steady breathing cycle than the other, who was wheezing.
“Listen, Seri—man, I’ll give it back.. tomorrow!” Reigen was sprinting down different streets, waking up the elderly who went to sleep early. You know what, curse old people. That old lady could’ve held Serizawa captive for far longer than this.
“How do you know my name?!” Serizawa squeaked, surprised the blonde knew his name.
Reigen laughed, breathless but still managing to get a chuckle out. “How do you know mine!?”

There’s a cigarette burn on Yeon Sieun’s right arm. It’s dull, the angry red faded, but it’s there.
It almost looks like his skin. From a glance, nobody would even care. Sieun got into fights, not the newest topic, so nobody seemed to notice how the circle on his arm was two shades brighter than his skin, or how it felt jagged when a finger ran over it.
Nobody but Ahn Suho noticed.

Summary
Sharp green eyes stare back at Eiji. Only for a moment, and then those eyes close shut, face relaxed. Completely and perfectly asleep. Except the hair on the back of Eiji's neck has stiffened— that same feeling Eiji learned to listen to when he was nineteen because it means something isn’t right (before he even learned just how things can go so terribly wrong). Ash is asleep, to anyone else, but Eiji knows what his husband looks like actually tired from a long day, and this smaller, stiffer version is certainly not the same man that fell in bed with him last night.
A man... this looks like a child.
Or, a 30-year-old Ash is swapped out with a 15-year-old Ash, and Eiji's just along for the bumpy ride.

"I'm sorry," Eiji whispers when Ash's breathing has almost quieted.
"What?" Ash asks, and he doesn't sound mad, only surprised. Of course he doesn't. It's Ash, and he's Eiji, and even when Ash is mad, he's protective.
Eiji refuses to open his eyes, burying his head into the pillow. "I'm sorry I made you kiss me." Now, that word is easy to get out, effortless, because it's not a plea but something spit out in frustration.
"Made me- what?"

Going on a field trip was typically the best part about school. Until that field trip led Midtown High to Stark Industries. The one place in all of New York City that Peter’s classmates and teachers didn’t believe he interned for. When accusations of forgery surface, Peter is facing expulsion from Midtown and a permanent black mark on his record that could make it impossible for him to get into any University. If there was one thing Tony Stark was not going to stand for. It was his kid being called a liar and having his future at risk. One thing is for certain, Midtown High was not prepared for this field trip.

inspired by the isley brothers's "brother, brother, brother."
The first time Peter and Harley met, the former was shoved inside of a narrow locker with an egg-sized bump on the back of his head and the latter was sporting split knuckles and a blossoming black eye.
They had both stared at the other with mild interest, eyebrows cocked and mischievous grins quirking at the corners of their lips. It was as if the universe had pushed them together. Like we were meant to be brothers, they might say now, weeks later, with their arms thrown haphazardly around each other’s necks. In the moment, however, all they knew was that they had somehow- together- managed to jimmy their way out of getting their asses handed to them on a platter, and that was cause enough for them to learn each other’s names at the very least.
