Soobin stared through the unshed tears in his eyes as a pair of sad, distant eyes looked back at him from the hospital bed, a pair of eyes once so full of life and love he could hardly recognize anymore, although that didn’t make him love him any less, he thought to himself, in sickness and in health, as some say. Beomgyu's raspy voice cut through the silence in the room, making Soobin turn his head away from him as the tears finally spilled from his eyes staring at the closest wall, shaking his head as he felt his breath catch on his throat, his chest tightening as he squeezed his fists tight, his hands felt cold and clammy but he was sweating, he couldn’t remember the last time he had been this uncomfortable in Beomgyu’s presence.
Never, he recalls, he had never felt uncomfortable around him, but seeing him in that bed, looking so frail he feared he would crumble beneath his touch made him feel so ill he wondered if he was sick too. He wished he was sick instead, he hated this, he hated knowing how this could end.Or

"W-what?" Soobin looked like a startled little bunny again.
"When they recognize my talent."
"There's no way not to recognize it..." Soobin began, stepping even closer. "You're one of the most talented, beautiful, and... everything words can't describe, that I've ever seen."
Beomgyu smiled. Silly boy.
"Yeah, Soobin..." He brushed his nose against Soobin's. "You can kiss me."
"Man, finally."
After that day, everything changed. Between them, within Beomgyu, and especially in his heart.
He should have never let Soobin kiss him.
