It's been almost a week, and their bond is quiet, but not destroyed, not like it was torn to shreds when Qui-Gon abandoned him on Melida/Daan, and Obi-Wan hopes beyond belief that it means Anakin managed to survive somehow. The thought that his brilliant master died to something as trivial as a collapsing moon is unbearable. It's unfair.
He's overheard Master Che talking to Master Windu about shock and denial, but he chooses to ignore that. He knows what he feels, and their bond is not broken.
