Summary
A virus of unknown origin has spread in the water that causes anyone who dies to come back as a moving corpse with an insatiable hunger for human flesh, and those who are bitten by infected are, in turn, infected. Thorin tries to get back to Dis, Fili and Kili and stay alive while also keeping Bilbo alive, who may be more capable than they both think.

Summary
He wasn’t careless at all when it happened — Asriel was sober, and sane, and surrounded by people, and sounds, and the light. But it is the combination of all that reached him — the soberness, the clear mind, the people who talked to each other, but not to him, the band playing guitar, the cyan light dancing in blinks on the surface — and then it slipped through.
