The nightmare started with Fredbears Family Diner and ended with the death of many children and employees connected with the restaurant. How could any of them have known the evil that layed beneath the mask he wore?
They never stood a chance.Only one option is left for them in the end, follow the golden rabbit destined to destroy them or follow the puppet determined to set them free?

"Hinata couldn’t believe it had come to this. He’d never been one for having an active imagination, but even with everything that had happened over the last few weeks on this horror movie of a school trip, Hinata had never imagined it would come to this, laying on the floor of this dusty, draughty room in this eyesore of a funhouse, hogtied by his own shoe laces and having to kneel at the feet of Nagito fucking Komaeda."
Tensions are high in the funhouse after 2 days with no food. Komaeda is doing his best to make everything worse, especially for Hajime Hinata, who’s hungry. Really hungry. And he's slowly realising it may be in more ways than just one.

Hajime stands a few feet away from Nagito, confused and angry, Fist clenched against his side restraining himself from shaking the other boy until some sense comes out of that mouth of his.
"Do you think I'm lying to you Hinata-kun?." Komaeda lets out a shaky breath and a self-deprecating smile, holding his arms tighter against his chest. "Ah...I should have known. Someone like me should have known better than to have their confession taken seriously."

Summary
The first thought he had when he awoke was—
…How boring.
A rather out of place thought considering what followed next was—
Fuck.
(Which, he considered, was a much more adequate response.)
That was the only conscious thought he had before every other sense was promptly deluged by an overwhelming heat.
Really, Hajime found that he had started getting a tad bit more used to life on the island (at least, as used as you can get when you're forced into a killing game by a sadistic, animatronic bear) so he would've preferred to wake up the same as he usually did: grumbling and gaining consciousness upon hearing that wretched morning announcement. He also would've preferred to not wake up absolutely drenched in sweat.
However, he was clearly not that fortunate.
OR an AU where Hajime gets the Despair Disease instead of Nagito and suffers the ensuing consequences (cue the hurt/comfort).

Summary
"'Would you all just shut up!!' Hajime yelled and stood up from where he was sat, causing his seat to scrape loudly against the floor. His yelling only seemed to garner the attention of the other survivors though, Monokuma couldn't care less for his outburst as he punched Monomi in the face hard enough to send her flying."
TL;DR hajime catches the despair disease instead of nagito (a totally original and definitely not over done idea)

“I just… want more than this. I want to be your friend.” He finished– feeling strangely out of breath as a result, not wanting to let go of Komaeda’s hand, so he just let it lay there, as he kept his head down.
He awaited Komaeda’s response– heart beating out of his chest. Komaeda didn’t speak, or move. Just as Hinata was about to pull away– he heard Komaeda hum. “Hinata kun… wants to be my friend?”

( Hajime doesn’t know what he wants– and is sleeping with someone who refuses to be non-cryptic of his own wants. Hinata can’t help the guilt that has been eating him alive recently– a heated conversation leads to their relationship taking a turn, and Hinata has to learn to become his friend first and foremost.)
