After waking from a coma, Suho vows to never feel weak again. Obsessed with the gym, he rebuilds himself into someone unrecognizably strong—a broad-shouldered, muscle-bound version of the boy he once was. At his side, Sieun is completely smitten with Suho’s new strength. Sieun loves being held, lifted but he can’t help the jealousy that burns when everyone else stares at his boyfriend at the gym.

“So why didn’t you?” Sieun furrows his eyebrows, and Suho’s heart almost explodes right then and there.
When Suho's fully recovered, Sieun finds himself catching up on all the sleep that he's been deprived of. Meanwhile, Suho's heart simply cannot handle a clingy, sleepy Sieun who strangely keeps asking for a kiss on the cheek.

Sieun’s not trying to attribute a feeling to it, but it happens anyway. A tightness behind his ribs, a sharpness on his next inhale, a weak flutter in his stomach where the seolleongtang sits heavy.
And more than that, a stutter of his heart, quickly followed by the pounding of it beating, sure, steady, like the way Suho inserts himself into his space.

"Suho," he whispered, breath caught.
That was enough to cut short Suho's nervous monologue. Despite his heart hammering loudly in his chest, he could hear the news presenter clearly now.
"18 bodies have been recovered from the rubble since the tunnel collapsed around 10 this morning. Experts say the horrible tragedy—"
The images blurred on the screen. He couldn't breathe.
It couldn't be.
"Tell me you’re not in that tunnel," Sieun breathed out, hollow.
OR: Sieun comes home to 87 missed calls from Suho. When he finally answers, Suho sounds like nothing is wrong—teasing and almost casual enough to be convincing. Sieun only slowly realizes that Suho isn’t on his way home, but trapped under a collapsed tunnel with a dying phone and something he has been circling around for years but never managed to say out loud.
