Summary
The absence of Caine, unfortunately, makes way for something worse. Out of pure desperation, the gang rescues him from deletion in hopes he can save them from being deleted too.
Caine gets another chance to prove himself, though he's not sure he wants to, and he still doesn’t understand how it all went so wrong in the first place.
Nobody really wants to die here. Nobody really has much of a choice on how to make that happen. And certainly, nobody is really happy with their former tormentor(s).
But…any port in a storm, right? And maybe with a little patience and effort and compassion, they can all learn to just...live.

Summary
You had reached your breaking point with Caine. Since he wouldn’t allow you to skip adventures, you decided to bite him back where it hurt – drag him along with you. What was supposed to be a taste of his own medicine somehow backfired horribly.
You couldn’t get any peace from him. Your attempt to make him back off seemed to make him completely glued to you.
It seemed that Jax had put it best when he choked your name out between manic laughter – “Caine has the hots for you?!”
