“Ah, pardon my overreach. I suppose I got a little ahead of myself,” he apologizes quickly, feeling his cheeks heat up, a little ashamed to be so easily swept up in his excitement at the promise of a problem to solve.
Sherlock barks out a short, jubilant laugh, sliding his hand into his jacket pocket to retrieve one of his cigarettes, placing it between his lips before returning for his matches next. “Liam,” matches located, Sherlock lights up his cigarette and takes a long drag, exhaling the smoke unhurriedly towards the window next to him, “It is a true pleasure to have ya aboard.”
~After the events of Vermissa, William is ready to begin his new mission under Pinkerton Detective Agency. Side-by-side with Sherlock and Billy, they agree to investigate a series of seemingly random attacks on a garment factory in the warehouse district that have recently escalated. Summary
