Summary
Glancing over his shoulder like someone could be listening in, Roxto leans forward so that only their little gathering can hear him. “Mangkwan raids.”
Beneath the kids, the tulkun warble worriedly. Out of the corner of his eye, Spider sees Lo’ak pat Payakan’s flank.
“Mangkwan?”
“Ash people,” Tsireya replies, brow pinching. “They attack the airships to steal their supplies using…barbaric techniques.”
“They do not follow the will of Eywa,” Aonung adds, and Spider feels a slimy sliver of fear work its way up his spine. “Their belief is that every Na’vi should ignore the Great Mother’s way, ignore her wishes and be strong on their own.”
“Scary,” Spider mutters.
<=>There are moments unseen that can disappear in a heartbeat. Connections, experiences, love and loss that's absorbed into the churning machine of life.
This is a novelisation of those moments, in the two months spent with the Sully family in Fire and Ash, and the some of the things we did see.

Summary
After the battle at the Three Brothers rocks, the Sullys arrive at Awa'atlu to prepare for Neteyam's return to Eywa and to help the Metkayina recover from the catastrophic losses as a result of the hunt for Jake and his family.
Word had spread, however, about a human boy who had travelled with the Avatars and helped bring destruction to villages and Tulkun herds for months. When Spider returns with the Sullys, his decisions while he was held by the RDA come to consequences he wishes he didn't deserve.
He does deserve it, though. He knows this much. He doesn't understand many of the things that have happened to him, but he does know this. Why else would the Sullys leave him for so long?

The one where Jake takes 10-15 business days to swap one son for another and Spider barely makes it back to him alive.

Lo’ak is shuddering hard with each breath. His lips are pulled back, teeth bared a little. Grey around the mouth. Eyes open but not really seeing anything. But Jake can see Lo’ak’s chest going up and down in big pulls, and all he feels is relief. For a second, that’s all that matters. His son is breathing and alive. But the relief, however strong, bleeds out, and all he's left with is dread because something is very, very wrong.

But not all is right with the world. There is still much to be healed, many wounds to be mended, and loose threads to be tidied. With the help of his family, and a few new friends, Spider begins his journey of healing. It will take time, he knows this. But time is something they have in abundance.
And he wouldn't spend it with anyone but his family.

Jake’s anger was palpable enough to burn a hole through steel, his jaw clenched so hard that his teeth creaked audibly. “Who would choose to leave a child on Pandora? Who would have a child in an obvious warzone? Who the fuck would endanger a kid like that?” he asks, all of them rhetorical because no one would be able to answer them anyway.
“And how the hell did Selfridge think it was a good idea to tell someone just as he was getting on an aircraft to leave?!” Jake asks again, getting more irate and angry, nearly tearing his hair out at this point. “That’s like saying ‘Oh peace out guys, but don’t forget there’s a literal child in there who could starve if left alone’. Like, the fuck?!”
He flops back against his chair, his breaths heaving out in barely controlled gusts that flutter the pages strewn about him. “Actually, Norm, don’t slap him. Punch the dumbass for me into next week. Maybe that’ll get it through his thick skull,” he mutters, utterly serious in his tone and his expression.
Or!All humans leave Pandora after the final battle leaving Spider behind. Oh, and he’s blessed by Eywa. That’s it. That’s the fic.

Summary
The undergrowth rustles as something pushes through. Neytiri holds her position, bow lifted to her shoulder, string remaining slack.
She stops breathing all together when it reveals itself.
Pink pale skin, bright hair helplessly tangled and a small body that shouldn’t be able to walk as freely as it does on her planet peeks through. Neytiri’s breath becomes short with rage as it slowly approaches the river bank, using all four limbs in a kind of imitation of a viperwolf’s loping walk. The edges of her sight turn dark as it turns to the traps in the water.
A skyperson has been stealing food from her people. A pink skin, whose kind has already taken so much from her planet, deigns to feed itself on their catches. Distantly, she knows she’s becoming incensed, but she can’t help it. Her rage burns through her consciousness so quickly that she’s drawing back an arrow before she can even think about it.
