Bruno stared, unblinking, at the jade glass tablet in his hands.
No.
No!
It was always like this. He always ruined things. His family had welcomed him back, he had a seat at the table, the gifts were back. The villagers didn’t whisper his name as much, some even smiled tentatively at him when he went to town. His family was happy. Things weren’t perfect, but Bruno had learned not to strive for perfection. Perfection was for his sisters, his nieces and nephews, not for him. He had learned to settle with being content and he was happy enough that way.
Of course Bad Luck Bruno would come around. He was cursed, everyone knew it. And staring down at the image embossed on green glass, Bruno knew he should have never left the walls of casita. In his hands was proof that he would destroy his family’s happiness.
For how could his family be happy when his future showed him tearing them apart.

Summary
It's been a couple of years since Wanderer came to earth. She encountered trials that challenged her entire world view, made new friends, gained a sister, and fell in love. Things have been peaceful, or as peaceful as they can be when you're living life in a secret cave system, hiding from your own species. Life is constantly in motion though and being human can be more complicated than Wanderer imagined.
Wanderer's peaceful life is turned upside down and her relationships tested when tragedy strikes. Ian has been captured and a soul is soon controlling his body and actions. Wanderer and Ian must face their toughest challenge yet and hope that they have the strength to overcome the obstacles and hostility they seem to find at every turn.

Summary
This is my collection of Bruno/Encanto fanfics (though most of them will be about Bruno, who I will never stop talking about thank you very much). So far there's a lot of angst/fluff/hurt/comfort, but I might eventually branch out and do some lighthearted stuff too. We'll see where the muse takes me:)
